Work at height training
Hands-on work at height and PPE courses, delivered on your own site.
A perfect lifeline is worthless if the person going up does not know how to clip on properly. Training is not a formality: it is the part of the system that makes everything else work.
We run practical courses with real equipment and — wherever possible — on the client’s own site, so staff practise on the roof they will actually be working on.

Work at height — basic level
Risks, applicable regulations, collective and personal protection, and hands-on use of the harness and fall arrest system. For anyone who has to go up onto a roof.

Lifeline use
Specific training on the system installed in your building: the route, the attachment points, the limits, the fall clearance and what to do if something fails.

Selecting and using fall arrest PPE
Harness, lanyard, energy absorber, connectors and travelling fall arrester. How to choose the right kit, how to fit it and how to check it before every use.

User-level PPE inspection
How to carry out the pre-use check, which defects require equipment to be withdrawn, and how to keep the records the regulations demand.

Rescue at height
Procedure for evacuating a worker suspended after a fall. Suspension trauma does not leave much margin: the plan has to be rehearsed.

We build the content around your risk assessment and the specific equipment your staff use. Also available in English, French and Portuguese.

Training
The regulatory basis for training
Training workers in the risks of their job is not optional. These are the references:
- Ley 31/1995, art. 19 — Worker training in prevention (Spain)
- RD 2177/2004 — Specific training for temporary work at height (Spain)
- RD 773/1997 — Use of personal protective equipment (Spain)
- EN 365 — Periodic examination and inspection of PPE
- Training fundable through FUNDAE credits
- Named certificate of achievement for every attendee
Frequently asked questions
How long is the work at height course?
The basic level normally runs as a single day of six to eight hours, with a short theory session and the rest practical. Rescue courses or system-specific courses may need a second day.
Can you come to our premises?
That is what we recommend whenever it is feasible. Training staff on the actual roof, with the system they will use, is far more effective than a classroom with generic equipment. All we need is somewhere to run the theory session.
Is the training FUNDAE-fundable?
Yes, if your company pays the Spanish vocational training levy. We handle the notification and the paperwork, provided you give us the minimum notice the system requires.
Do you deliver training in other languages?
Yes. We teach in Spanish, English, French and Portuguese, which is common in logistics and agrifood workforces in this region. Mention it when you request the quote.
