Lifelines installed, certified and ready for inspection

We design and install EN 795 fall arrest systems for residential blocks, industrial units and companies across Seville, Aljarafe and Huelva — with the certificate and the paperwork in order from day one.

What we do

Four ways to solve working at height

We reach by rope what scaffolding cannot reach, or cannot justify. Same team, same engineering judgement and the same documentation when we finish.

Why StayUpWorks

Your building deserves more than an anchor screwed into place

A miscalculated lifeline gives a false sense of safety. We work the other way round: the calculation comes before the drill.

  • Calculation before installation

We check the real strength of the substrate, the sag of the cable and the free fall clearance. If the roof cannot take it, we say so before invoicing, not after.

  • Certification and paperwork

Every job ends with an installation certificate, a user manual, a drawing of the line and a maintenance log. That is exactly what an inspector will ask for.

  • Accredited technicians

The whole team holds current rope access and work positioning qualifications, with their PPE inspected and fully traceable.

  • Approved, traceable hardware

We only fit CE-marked components with a declaration of conformity from recognised manufacturers. Every part is recorded in your file.

  • Fixed-price quotes

One written price with the items broken down. No surprise extras halfway through and no "that was not included".

  • We chase the re-inspection

Periodic inspection is annual and mandatory. We keep the calendar and remind you before the certificate expires.

How we work

From the first message to the signed certificate

Four steps, no middlemen, and a single point of contact throughout the project.

  1. 01

    Site survey

We visit your building, measure, photograph and check the condition of the substrate. It is free and commits you to nothing.

  2. 02

    Design and quote

You receive the proposed layout, the chosen system, the supporting calculation and a fixed price — usually within 48 hours.

  3. 03

    Installation

We install with the building in use, coordinating with the residents committee or your health and safety manager so nothing stops.

  4. 04

    Certification and upkeep

We test the system, hand over the complete file, train whoever will use it and schedule next year’s inspection.

Who we work for

Every building has its own problem on the roof

We match the system to how it will actually be used, not to the manufacturer’s catalogue.

  • Residential blocks

So the aerial engineer, the air-conditioning technician or the gutter cleaner can legally go up. We handle it with the property manager.

  • Industrial and logistics

Profiled steel and sandwich panel roofs, rooflights and long spans. Solutions that spread the load without breaking the weatherproofing.

  • Hotels and offices

Facade, signage and HVAC maintenance without closing floors or disturbing guests. We work to agreed hours.

  • New build and refurbishment

We work alongside the design team and the safety coordinator to deliver the permanent protection specified in the project.

  • Industry and agrifood

Silos, tanks, walkways and machine access. Anchors for places where scaffolding simply does not fit.

  • Public sector

Schools, sports centres and municipal buildings. Documentation prepared for tender and technical specifications.

Where we work

Based in Aljarafe, working across western Andalusia

Being close matters: an annual inspection or an urgent repair cannot depend on someone driving across the country. These are our usual response times.

Frequently asked questions

Is a lifeline compulsory on my building’s roof?

Spanish law does not require a lifeline simply because a building has a roof, but it does require anyone working at height to be protected (RD 2177/2004 and Ley 31/1995). In practice, if your roof has aerials, solar panels, HVAC units or gutters that someone has to maintain, you need a protection system. Without one, no reputable contractor will go up and the liability sits with the building owner.

How often does a lifeline need inspecting?

At least once a year, by a competent person and following the manufacturer’s instructions, as set out in EN 365. After a fall or an impact, inspection is immediate and mandatory before the system is used again. We keep the calendar and warn you before it lapses.

How much does installing a lifeline cost?

It depends on the roof type, the length of the run, how many people will use it at once and what kind of anchor the substrate can take. A simple horizontal line on a residential block and a system for a 3,000 m² warehouse are not in the same league. That is why the survey is free: without seeing the substrate, any price quoted over the phone is guesswork.

Do you work without scaffolding? Is it as safe?

Yes. Rope access and work positioning is a recognised, regulated working method, using two ropes (working and safety) and specifically trained personnel. For one-off or medium-sized jobs it is usually faster, cheaper and far less intrusive than erecting and dismantling scaffolding.

How quickly will I get the quote?

Normally within 48 working hours of the site survey. If the project needs structural calculation or a special solution for the substrate, we will tell you and it may take four or five days.

Can the training be publicly funded?

Yes. Our courses can be funded through FUNDAE credits if your company pays the Spanish vocational training levy. We handle the administration.

Shall we talk about your project?

Free site survey, no obligation. We will tell you plainly what your building needs — and what it does not.
